I packed all my cycling stuff for this morning but really didn't expect to ride in. I was, as I expected, too tired from cycling, running and swimming three days in a row so I got ready for work slowly. Our auditor was popping in on the way home from another job and he was supposed to be here at 4:30, hence I wasn't in first thing. He just came by now so I suppose this is going to be a nice, short day. I deserve it after achieving great things yesterday and today.
I didn't even eat my salad.
Last night I felt inspired to read a new book. I went into the basement (too late for the library) and searched our boxes. I returned sur terre with:
- Steven Covey's "7", (otherwise known as "bible of satan") I figure anything Silver berates with such a passion is worth a read
- A horror called "josiah" with a picture of an in vitro baby on the front
- The only other sane-ish novel we seem to own whose name is so striking it's escaped me.
- Another note book to write in
- My pencil case from University full of fun writing implements I haven't seen in too long
- A Confined Spaces training book for work
- "101 poems to keep you sane", which contains the poem Ma-in-Law read at our wedding.
Guess which one I read some of last night... Some are very good and I might just share: This one's on the back cover.

The rest of our books are BAD science fiction, somehow donated by Hubby's brother from his 13 year old phase, engineering, guides to carpentry and joinery, bizarely, one copy of the bible and ancient introductions to nuclear physics. I guess The Boy might read them when he visits!

ha, cats will do that. I used to have a cat who would sit on my chest and bite at my nostrils until I woke up. They are so personable when they want something. :)
