When you see a couple of red kites chasing off a blue heron in the course of your working day, you just have to tell the world about it.

I've driven up from Surrey via a job interview in Warwick today, and saw 8 (count 'em) kites over the M40. OK, they were round the Oxford exit which is technically before Warwick, but you'd have to be really pedantic to point that out!
